11 Try the bag on, checking the length of the strap. Decide where you want to place the three eyelets into the long strap. Finish your bag by inserting the eyelets using a setting tool or eyelet pliers.

SEPIA TRINGLE

This three-quarter size version of the tringle co-ordinates with the sepia bags on pages 20, 48 and 89. An elongated Log Cabin block is the starting point for each triangle, simply quilted in the ditch. Brown marbled cotton used for bias binding was interlined with calico to give it enough body for use as a gusset. For adult use, the strap is a few inches longer than the denim and plaid tringle but, with a shorter strap, this three-quarter size bag would be suitable for a child.
