Silly
This is how I used the leftover assortment of balloons. This one was a surprise afternoon visit. The kids went out to the play set in the backyard and when they came back in, the elves had been by for a visit.

Balloons
Snowball Fight I
This one took an hour or so, but can be done in a much simpler way. I think I heard âHave Yourself a Merry Little Christmasâ on the way home or had one too many cups of eggnog, because I was feeling good and in the spirit. This was my masterpiece.
I took all the cushions off the couch and placed them in a central area to create a hilly landscape. I had plastic sheeting for painting in the garage, so I cut a piece to drape over the cushions to create the illusion of snow (remember, through the eyes of a child). Next, I took approximately one hundred pieces of copy paper, balled them up and placed them all over the room. Additionally, I raided the shredder from work for a few weeks and collected the paper in large garbage bags, which I hid in my car. As a final touch, I dumped all the shredded paper on top of my creation. A winter wonderland! It was one heck of a snowball fight.
You can do this without the couch cushions or the plastic sheeting, and definitely without the shredded paper. I wouldnât want anybody to find themselves or their significant other on the naughty list for making a mess. Set the elf and her friends up across the room from each other. Put at least one obstacle in between them and ball up copy paper and place around the scene.
Supplies:
Copy paper
