•Yarn—Color A yellow; Color B dark blue

Pattern Stitch

Long Double Crochet (long dc): Yo, insert hook in st indicated on 2nd rnd below, draw up lp to height of working rnd, [yo, draw through 2 lps on hook] twice—long dc made.

Instructions

With Color A, ch 4; join to form a ring.

Rnd 1 (RS): Ch 1, 6 sc in ring; join in first sc.

Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each sc; join in first sc—12 sc.

Rnd 3: Rep Rnd 2. At end of rnd—24 sc.

Rnd 4: Ch 2, yo, draw up lp in same sc, yo and draw through all 3 lps on hook—beg cluster made; ch 2; *sk next sc, yo, draw up lp in next sc, yo, draw through 2 lps on hook, yo and draw up lp in same sc, yo and draw through all 4 lps on hook—cluster made; ch 2; rep from * 10 times more; join in top of beg cluster—12 clusters. Change to Color B by drawing lp through; cut Color A.

Rnd 5: Ch 1, sc in same cluster; working over next ch-2 sp, long dc (see Pattern Stitch) in unused sc on 2nd rnd below; long dc as before in same sc; *sc in top of next cluster on working rnd, working over next ch-2 sp, 2 long dc in next unused sc on 2nd rnd below; rep from * 10 times more; join in first sc—36 sts.

Rnd 6: Ch 1, 2 sc in same sc; sc in next 2 dc, [2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 dc] 11 times; join in first sc—48 sc.

Rnd 7: Ch 6 (counts as a dc and a ch-3 sp), dc in same sc—beg corner made; hdc in next 2 sc, sc in next 7 sc, hdc in next 2 sc; *in next sc work (dc, ch 3, dc)—corner made; hdc in next 2 sc, sc in next 7 sc, hdc in next 2 sc; rep from * twice more; join in 3rd ch of beg ch-6.

Finish off and weave in all ends.
