“Our spaceball star is here!” shouted Var.

I hurried over to their table.

“I just played the best game of spaceball I have ever played in my life!” I blurted out. “You should have seen me!”

My friends got that inky look on their faces. The look they always got when I talked about spaceball.

Then Tad said, “Zenon, you’re turning into a regular Pandorian Lootar!”

“Just like your good friend Grebba Kahn!” added Nebula, pointing toward the door.

Everyone started laughing.

I turned to look. Grebba was standing there in the doorway.

With tears in her eyes, she turned and ran out of the Mars Malt.
