He couldn't bear it another second. Not one more second.

Ecco grabbed his board and headed for this perfect, pristine set of hills that he could see from Henry's windows. He didn't need to be out long, but the moon was shining, Henry was snoozing, and the wind was calling him, man.

And there wasn't anyone out there watching. No judges. No fans. No cameras. Just him and his trusty board and the snow. Possibly a badger or a raccoon or something, but that was cool.

The slopes weren't steep enough for any tricks or going fast, but hell, his body wasn't healed enough, either. He just zipped through, riding easy. letting his hair blow in his face.

He went back in when he got tired, finding Henry up and wrapped in a blanket with two mugs of hot chocolate steaming in his hands. Henry laughed softly. "There you are. I bet you're cold. I started a fire."

"Hey. The slopes out there are fun." He couldn't stop grinning.

Henry smiled back, eyes dancing. "I'm surprised it took you this long to go out."

"I was sore and tired." A little nervous.

"Yeah." Henry came over and rubbed his back, hand sliding from his neck to just above his ass. "Come sit and warm up, having some hot chocolate. I might have tossed in a slug of Kahlúa."

"Oooh!" He reached over and snagged Henry for a kiss.
