Worship God by Trusting Him

Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

PROVERBS 3:5–6

Proverbs 3:5–6 is a wonderful admonition to trust in God through everything in our lives. Whether it be work or play, relationships or financial matters, we are to trust in the Lord with all our hearts. Of course, to trust in the Lord requires faith. It means completely relying on God’s promises. It means we believe that His presence is not only with us but also that He will guide us.

We must come to the place in our walk with the Lord where we believe wholeheartedly that God is true to His Word, that He is able to handle any of our problems, and that He is wise enough to lead us in the right direction. If we want to learn to truly trust in Him, we must get intimately acquainted with His Word and His Spirit. It is in doing this that we find He wants to guide us in every area of our lives.

Our lifestyle of worship should be 24/7, 365 days a year. Begin even now to worship Him in all aspects of your life by simply acknowledging Him in all things. You already believe in Him as Savior. Now trust Him as guide.
