It was very amusing, until you wanted to get something done without knowing what these quaint phrases meant. And by the way, if you want to use a “water stopper” in Nigeria, take one with you. They don’t sell them there. As a travel tip in case you do forget to take one, I suggest large quantities of toilet paper. Just don’t ask for toilet paper in the shop. They’ll look at you quizzically. But they’ll know what you want if you ask for “tissue”.
