It was if they were being led, almost like someone had been doing a play-by-play commentary, then orchestrating their response: “Okay, everyone, he’s coming down! He’s at ten feet and dropping like lead—eight feet, I’m thinking ugly—four, get ready to groan—three, he’s gonna hit hard—two, it’s going to be a back-buster—one—let’s hear it all together … NOW!”

UUHHHhhhhhhh!

But there was no director there that day telling the students what to do and when to do it. What they did was natural, the most appropriate response to what they were seeing. It was spontaneous. Their response was true.
