Chapter Twelve

Kari stood in front of the full-length mirror in her room. She still had no idea what to wear to Maddox’s club tonight. She could barely think straight. She’d never been this nervous about going somewhere with a man, not even the first time The Sir had taken her back to his apartment.

This was different than all the clubs she’d been to with him. It was different than the first time she’d had sex with Adison. That had started out with him tying her up with scarves and spanking her. They’d been laughing so hard it was a miracle it had progressed to sex at all. Kari didn’t know Adison was already experienced in both bondage and sex until several months later when he told her about all the visits to clubs in Chicago, courtesy of Ellis’s father.

But she wasn’t going to think about any of that tonight. She’d promised him that she would put the past behind them and get to know the person he was now, and that’s what she intended to do. The fact that Noah had promised to be there as well sent a fresh wave of desire through Kari. She had no idea how this was going to end up, but she couldn't wait to find out.

She asked Alexa to help her choose an outfit that would be appropriate for a fetish club but wouldn’t be too revealing, since Kari didn’t know who would be there. Adison had explained that the regulars at Maddox’s house wore everything from street clothes to nothing but a trench coat. Maddox didn’t insist on a dress code, but most people came in leather or PVC.

Kari and Alexa finally chose a hot-pink, short PVC pleated skirt, thigh-high, shiny black boots, and a corset with brocade insets that matched the skirt color. Under the skirt she wore her favorite pair of lace panties, adorned with butterfly designs, and tied in the back with tiny ribbons. She decided against stockings because she’d never liked the way they felt inside boots. It was a cold night, but she only expected to be outside long enough to get in and out of Adison’s car.

Alexa stepped back to survey the complete outfit. “We should take a picture of this and blow it up for the shop wall. We’d sell the entire outfit to anyone who came in.”

“Oh sure. Just what I want, Alexa. The entire town of Racy seeing me half-naked in PVC and brocade.”

“But it’s perfect. Sexy but not slutty, and it says ‘I’ve come here to play.’”

Kari turned sideways in front of the mirror. “It says I’ve come here to fuck.”

Alexa laughed. “Well, isn’t that what you’re hoping for?”

“Yes. I don’t know. Yes. Oh shit, Alexa. How the hell am I going to handle this?”

“Hey, it’s okay. You don’t have to do anything except play, you know.”

“I know. It’s just that I can’t stop dreaming about fucking both of them. It’s insane! I come in my sleep, for heaven’s sake.”

“Lucky you. I’ve never done that.
