The task before you is never as great as the power behind you.

Think about the early church: “Every day the Lord added to them those who were being saved.”25 This is the worldview of Kingdom culture. It is not only possible but also probable in Kingdom culture to see the Lord add to your church every day. This type of growth in the movement of Christianity is not limited to the first century. It is occurring, literally, in many places around the world, even as you read this. This is the experience of thriving Christians and thriving churches. This is normal. The slow growth or decline of Christian churches is abnormal and disharmonious with the Christian movement. In other words, if your church is not experiencing the Lord adding new believers to your group every day, your church is not operating at full potential. That is either true, according to the Bible, or you have to play some gymnastics and excuse it away by tampering with God’s Word. You can’t have it both ways.
