Chapter 16

They made it to the pool party that was being hosted by Dex and Tyra at their house. Tyra was finally opening up a little to his friends. Muffin spotted Ralo sitting in a chair up under a tent in the backyard with some more guys.

“Hey y’all, thanks for cominggg!”Tyra said hugging them.

“Thanks for the invite,”said Amina.

“Hey Muffin boo! You finally out the house I see!”Tyra said as she sipped some more of her drink.

“Damn you already feeling good, I need whatever you got,”Muffin said laughing trying to loosen up.

“Help yourself! Everybody and everything is out back–ohhh snap that’s my jam!”Tyra said as she ran to the back patio and started shaking her ass,“Back Dat Azz up”was blazing from the speakers. They heard Dex start to yell at Tyra.

“Tyra sit yo’drunk ass down somewhere! Can’t even handle your damn liquor!”Dex said as he snatched her down and sat her in a chair.

Amina and Muffin laughed as they walked out back and across the yard. Kodak pulled Amina onto his lap and they kissed. Muffin looked up and noticed Ralo staring at her but she rolled her eyes at him and turned her head, childish much, she laughed thinking to herself. Ralo chuckled at her and took a sip from his beer.

“What took you so long?”asked Kodak to Amina.

“We had to stop and get swimsuits,”said Amina.

“What’s wrong with you?”he asked.

“Nothing dang, why it gotta be something wrong with me?”Amina shot back.

Kodak looked at Amina, he could tell something was bothering her, but if she didn’t want to talk about it right now then fine. He lifted her up then headed to the pool.

“K, I swear you throw me in that water I’m kicking your ass!”Amina yelled gripping her arms around his neck.

“Tell me you sorry,”said Kodak grinning.

“Sorry for what!”Amina shouted.

“Wrong answer,”Kodak said as he threw Amina into the water.

Amina came back up to the top arms flying and screaming cursing out Kodak every time her head came above water. He jumped in behind her and went and picked her up in the water and kissed her. The pool party fun had started and everyone was having a good time. About an hour later, Ralo decided to go up to Muffin since she was acting petty.

“So you just gone stand here with your ass sticking out like that in that little ass swimsuit?”Ralo asked coming up behind Muffin as she stood watching everyone else in the pool.

“Well it is a pool party,”said Muffin.

“I don’t see you in the water, and they got them things you can buy to cover up,”he said joking but serious.

Muffin turned around and looked at him and he was smiling licking his lips. She couldn’t help but smile back he was so sexy, she missed him.

“What you bothering me for?”Muffin aksed blushing. He pulled her into him and kissed her neck.

“I missed you, you missed me?”he asked her looking in her eyes.

“Nope,”Muffin said back jokingly.

He lifted her up off her feet into a bear hug.

“Let’s get out of here and go to the house, I got some making up to do,”Ralo said with a wink.
