I was not on cloud nine, but I was getting dangerously close. Something was different last night when Nick and I had sex than it had been the previous times. For once, it felt as if we were connected. I hated the feeling considering I did not know where we were going with this. I knew that I needed more from Nick, but that was only if he was truly done with Calandra. I could not take another disappointment from him.

“Look who’s creeping in from a night of hoeing,” Ericka giggled. I had not even noticed her standing in her doorway.

“How long have you been up?” I asked picking up the room service menu.

“Not long. I went in your room to see if you were awake, and to my surprise you weren’t there,” Ericka said pretending to clutch her pearls. “I see you went next door to get that kitty stroked.”

“Stop being so nasty,” I laughed. “You know I don’t kiss and tell.”

“But did he kiss your tail?” Ericka pressed.

“Girl he kissed and licked!” I laughed.

“Eww, too much information. I can’t handle the truth,” Ericka scrunched up her nose.

“Well stop asking for what you can’t handle,” I winked at her. “You want to order some brunch. Nick and Cesar had a meeting, so we have some free time.”

“Hell yeah let’s order some brunch! I’m starving. Then we can go down to the spa and charge it to the room. This is going to be our weekend to get pampered,” Ericka said giving me a high five. I picked up the phone and ordered our food.

“Food is ordered. I’m going to go take a shower. You might want to go book our massages so we can just head down after we eat,” I said pulling my hair up into a messy bun. I was going to have to use my flat irons to straighten it out after Nick and my sexcapade the previous night.

“Ok, I’ll book us the deep tissue massage, hot stone massage, and the eucalyptus wraps,” Ericka said looking through the massage menu.

“That deep tissue massage sounds good. I really need one,” I said. My body was aching because of Nick.

“I bet you do,” Ericka laughed. I gave her the finger and headed into my room to take a shower.

I pulled out my white lace sundress I bought from Forever 21 and my Michael Kors Jaida flat sandals. I was going for a relaxed yet chic look for the day. After setting out my clothes, I went into the bathroom that was in my room and turned on the hot water for my shower. I liked my water as hot as it could possibly go. I took a moment to let the water heat up and examined myself in the mirror. I really liked my messy bun, so I decided to leave my hair how it was for the day. I would just add some edge control before I left the room. When I could feel the heat radiating from the shower, I stepped in.
