Treat It Like Any Other Accident

There will be plenty of time to play the blame game later. For now, you want to attend to any injuries and start gathering information that might help you later. Assuming nobody is hurt, call the dealership and let them know that you’ve been in an accident. While you wait for them to send someone to help you deal with the situation, use the opportunity to take pictures of the scene and jot down notes of any important information about the accident that you might forget later. Call the police so they can send an officer down to assess the situation and allow you to file a formal report, which you may need later for insurance purposes.
