I was use to this kind of shit dealing with the wrong niggas. I was making eye contact with Rock when the dude had his gun pointed at him but I could tell he didn’t understand me. When I see my life in danger I ‘on mind shooting or stabbing me a mutha fucka so I did what I had to do.

I don’t even know why I allowed myself to get jealous when Rock came out the bathroom with that hoe. I felt like shit and he wasn’t even my man. When I saw her smirk at me that was the ticket that unleashed my attitude. I was embarrassed because I wasn’t supposed to feel this way towards a nigga who wasn’t mines.

The whole ride home was quiet. Jasmine wasn’t talking, she was still frightened. Slim told her plenty of times she had nothing to worry about but since the things happened with Kenny she was still nervous.

Pulling up to my place we got out the car and Slim came around to say his goodbyes to Jasmine.

“Look at me ma.” He said as he lifted her head up to face him. “I got you baby, around me you’ll always be safe. Now give me a kiss.” He said pulling her close to him.

“Thanks baby.” She said still traumatized.

“I’m gone see you later right? He asked her.

“Yes.” She said softly.

“I’ll have your car here before you open your eyes in the morning.” He said. They kissed again and for the first time I was glad that she had finally found someone who loved her for her.

Rock got out the back and hopped into the front seat looking at me like he wanted something. I waved bye and that was all. An attitude was written all over my face, for what reason I didn’t know.

We made it inside the house and I checked around making sure everything was okay before we got comfortable. Once I noticed everything was the same I walked into my room.
