Being in the middle of a wolf den was surprisingly comforting. Perhaps it was because of the amazing dinner Seth had cooked for me. Or maybe it was the way he made me feel at home with him. After traveling for so long and never really being settled in my life, I was starting to see the possibilities of what a home, a community, and a mate could supply.

I’d fallen asleep thinking about those words and what it meant. Foxes were solitary by nature, only mating for the purpose of breeding. But here I was, lying next to a wolf who’d always belonged to a pack, wondering if maybe I could have a life like Seth too. A life of security and companionship. A settled life.

With a smile on my face, I awoke to Seth’s hand rubbing small circles against my back. And as I nestled up against him, I felt the hardness pressing into my hips. I giggled and rubbed my butt back and forth over his aroused state. The rumble in my chest told me he was awake, so I flipped around to face him.

“Hi,” I breathed, stunned at just how handsome he was in the early morning daylight. His dark hair covered most of his face, but those piercing eyes of his captured my heart with just one look.

“You’re still here,” he whispered, running his fingers over my cheek.

“Of course I am. Where would I go?”

He wrinkled his nose and flashed me the dimple. “I don’t know. I guess I just had a bad dream.”

Pushing him onto his back, I slid over top of him so that I was lying on his chest. I crossed my arms and rested my chin on them so I could get a good view of his face. “Tell me about your dream.”

He started rubbing my back again. “No.”

“Why not?”

“It was a stupid dream. Didn’t mean anything.”

I studied him some more, wiggling my brows and trying to make him laugh. “You’re complicated,” I finally said.

He chuckled big enough to bounce me around. “That’s an understatement.”

“I want to get to know you better,” I said. And then I immediately wondered if I had gone too far.

But in response, Seth’s grin spread and he pushed his hips up against mine. “I have an idea about that.” Then, before I could pull away, Seth grabbed the back of my head and crushed his lips against mine. In no time at all, his tongue danced inside my mouth and my panties fell to the floor. As though we had limited minutes together, Seth lifted my hips and immediately set them down on top of his giant cock. He stretched me wide and that pain returned, but only until he started rocking up and down.

I dug my fingers into his muscled chest and moaned. “Well, good morning.”
