Alberta fishing derbies bring in high volumes of out of Province watercraft, and boaters are usually in a rush to launch in time for tournament start. As a secondary line of prevention to the highway inspections program, Alberta sometimes deploys inspection crews to check boats prior to launching at these derbies. As previously mentioned, long wait times are never desirable or popular, so at one such tournament in northern Alberta, two Inspectors and team Seuss partnered together to speed tournament-goers through the inspection process. Seuss and his handler completed approximately 40 inspections in less than three hours, while the two Inspectors conducted the interviews.
