Giganta charged like an angry rhino at SuperBatGirl. THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! She stretched out her hands to grab her enemy, who floated calmly in the air.

Suddenly, Supergirl reached out, snatched Giganta by the wrist, and twisted. The move sent Giganta spinning.

THWUMP! The Super-Villain landed heavily on her back. The impact was enough to knock her out.

“You used the martial arts move I taught you!” Batgirl said.

“It sure came in handy,” Supergirl replied, breathing heavily. “My super-strength is even weaker now.”

“I feel it too. Something is happening to us, and it isn’t good,” Batgirl agreed. “But right now, catching Two-Face is top priority.”

“He’s all yours,” Supergirl said and gave her friend control of their composite form.

Batgirl sprinted over to the vault where Two-Face had been grabbing sacks of gems. She scooped up the Batarang that had hit the steel door and got ready to confront the Super-Villain. But the vault was empty. There were no gems, and there was no Two-Face.

“He’s gone! Again!” Batgirl growled. “He must have escaped while we were fighting Giganta.”

“He double-crossed me…,” Giganta said, groaning from the floor as she woke. “That no-good, two-timing creep. Well, two can play at that game. Two-Face betrayed me, so I’ll betray him. We were supposed to meet at his hideout after the heist. But now, I’ll take you there.”
