The room door swung open, and in walks Donovan and Keyvon. Sonja jumped up to embrace them like they were her kids. Seems like she was more excited about seeing them, then she was about seeing us. I put a smile on my face, even though I was in excruciating pain. Donovan now had a one-year-old son that was hanging on to his neck. Even with me being in love with Anson, I was still in my feelings when I found out that Don had a baby on the way.

“Hey Shay, how you feeling?” Don asked.

“Like shit. I’m hurting like hell.”

“You need me to get a nurse to give you some meds?”

“Nah, they will just make me go to sleep. Is this your lil’ man?”

“Yeah, this is the junior, with his bad butt.”

“Don’t call him bad, he is mischievous.”

“Fuck that, this nigga bad,” he laughed.

“Hey Key,” I spoke.

“Hey Shay, glad to see you up now. I’ve been praying for you.”

“Thanks bro, I needed that.”

At that moment, the door came open again, and Ty walked in with Tay and Taylor behind her. I looked at Tay, as she looked at Keyvon. They both gave each other a flirty look, then looked away. They were both in relationships with other people, and have been, but I can tell that they still had love for each other. They were together longer than any couple I knew, so I know that there was some love still there.
