CHAPTER 22

JAZMYN

I was up cleaning and getting ready for this doctor’s appointment I had in a couple of hours. I was officially nineteen weeks today and could find out the sex of my baby. I was praying for a little boy. After spending a lot of time with Ka’niyah, I don’t know if I can handle a girl right now. That child is so spoiled it’s beyond crazy. All Samya do is give her what she wants. I can’t say that I blame her; I know I will be the exact same way when I have my little one. It probably will be too spoiled due to Justice. He wants a little girl badly.

Speaking of Justice, I’ve been missing him like crazy. He calls his self still mad at me. I haven’t seen or talked to him since our last fall out, and that was almost a week ago. I called every day but he would never pick up. I even stopped by the house but he never seemed to be home. He was really in his feelings about this shit with Prince. I didn’t understand what could have him so upset with me that he wouldn’t even pick up my calls. I mean, I knew he was mad about the kiss but it had to be something far more serious for Justice to walk out on me. So I called Harlem. What he told me Prince said, pissed me off. I couldn’t believe he actually told Justice that I am pregnant by him, like are you serious. When did we even have the time to fuck? Other than the encounter at the mall, when was the last time I even saw his lying ass?

Prince kills me with that shit. He just told me he wasn’t trying to cause any harm in my relationship and that he only wanted us to be friends. Friends my ass, friends don’t lie to the next nigga about a baby he know for a fact isn’t his. I can’t stand a nigga that will lie on his dick. Niggas always talking about what us women do, but do the exact same shit. Niggas trap too. They figure if they put a baby in you then no man would want you. News flash, it don’t always work that way, it’s some real niggas out here that’s willing to step up. The nerve of that nigga. He needs to be worried about being a father to his own child then lying about mine.

Then on top of all that, Justice stupid ass gon’ believe him. He never even asked me what was going on or what really happened. He just jumped the fence and went along with questioning me like I’m one of these hoes out here who sleeps with every nigga and they daddy. Like really, I was with him every single night before I got pregnant. We spent every day together. If I wasn’t at work or at school, then I was with him. Justice
