45 Minutes Later

“Tinkle, where are you?” asked Levi with a hint of excitement in his voice.

“I’m at the hotel waiting on you,” replied Josie, attempting not to sound anxious. “Don’t say it like that baby! It sounds so sexy.” Josie began to laugh at how Levi sounded. Levi always flirted with her, but he flirted with any woman he came across. Maybe that’s why she tried to kiss him.

“Quit playing with me old man,” said Josie jokingly.

“Ah Tinkle! I missed you and your smart-ass mouth! Now, tell me what hotel you’re at so I can come pick you up.” Josie panicked for a moment.

“Pick me up? I thought we were leaving straight out.” Levi started laughing at Josie.

“Baby, you’re going to leave St. Louis. But I have to make a stop by my lawyer’s office to sign some papers. Then, we’re going to board my plane and jet off to Vegas.”

“Vegas? Why are we going there?” asked Josie, sounding a bit confused.

“Because Tinkle, I’m turning fifty in two days and I want to party in the best place there is…Sin City, with my favorite girl! Don’t you remember how you used to party with me all of the time?” asked Levi, trying to charm her, and it was working because she began to smile.

“You mean how you used to sneak me into places? I remember how I was underage partying with you.” They both started laughing as they reminisced.

“You looked and definitely acted the part,” recalled Levi. “And you never had a body like a little girl! I remember how JoJo used to fuss about how your clothes used to fit. She would say, ‘That girl has the ass and titties of a 30 year old woman.’ She wasn’t lying either.”

“Well, old men used to try to pick me up too!”

“Ha…ha…ha…you’re a grown ass woman now. Josie. Ripe for the picking.” Josie was taken aback by that comment for a moment.

“Yeah, you missed about 5 of my birthdays, too!” said Josie with an attitude. “Especially my 21st birthday! One of the most important ones of them all.”

“I know Tinkle, but I don’t plan on missing anymore. I promise!” he said with confidence. They continued to talk about old times and laugh for the next few minutes.

“We should be arriving in St. Louis in about thirty minutes. So, where are you?” asked Levi.

“I’m at the Drury Inn across from Lambert Airport,” Josie replied.

“Okay, I’ll call you when I’m in the lobby. I can’t wait to see you!”

“I can’t wait to see you either!” They said their goodbyes before hanging up. Josie was so excited about seeing Levi after all of these years.

I have time to take a shower and freshen up before Levi arrives. I have to make sure that I’m looking good! My hair has to be fly, make-up flawless, and body banging in this little black dress, thought Josie as she pulled her things out of her bag. She laid her dress out on the bed, along with her shoes and underwear.
