There are activities that appear directed toward exploiting our souls, or using our bodies in some sort of soul exchange, that, because of our soul blindness, we passively ignore. In this sense, we are like pigs wallowing in a sty, completely oblivious to the reason that they are fed. In the context of the relationship between us and our visitors, the soul, not the body, is what is being fattened, and the experiences of life are the food it is being fed.

A huge undertaking is going on here, and to me it is fantastic that, on so many levels, it is being methodically denied and ignored. But before we lay blame for this on any part of the human side of the relationship, I will shortly demonstrate that, from the beginning, it has been our visitors who have orchestrated the secrecy. They brilliantly ensured that governments would drop a cloak over their presence. And while they are certainly very clever, their motives for doing this, and therefore the policies and actions they have taken, can most assuredly be understood.

If we discover that a tiger seeks meat, we know that’s what it eats. We don’t need to understand how tigers communicate with each other to understand how we need to respond to them. Similarly, if we see a swift in the evening light, we know that it flies. Careful observation can reveal to us the details of its reasons for doing so, but we don’t need to be ornithologists to understand that it is darting around because it’s feeding on insects.

A man, though, might have an array of needs, not all of which he will reveal. And somebody from another realm of intelligent life, with needs that we don’t share, might not even be hiding them, but we will be as ignorant of them as the wild pig is of the tiger, whose stripes—visible to us—render him invisible to the pig’s differently structured eyes.

Given this, wouldn’t understanding the needs of our visitors be even more difficult than understanding those of another human being? Won’t they be both hidden and, even when in plain sight, still as invisible to us as the tiger is to the pig?

Well, actually, no—not if we apply our analytical abilities objectively and with dispassion, instead of looking at the situation as we do now, through emotions of denial and fear and the resulting screen of confusion. Instead, we need to do exactly what we did with the simpler creatures: simply observe the actions of the man or the visitor. In both cases, though, another level must be recognized and never forgotten: creatures with developed intellects can deceive and may want things from us that give them reason to do just that.

I dimly recall asking the old lady of Communion what I could give her. She responded, “Child, what could I possibly want from you?” That is to say, she lied. Now that we know that our visitors are engaged in creating human bodies, or gathering biological material
