Gender and the Tree of Life

In her book Goddess Spirituality for the 21st Century, Judith Laura reviewed and contrasted the Jewish gendering of the Tree of Life with the esoteric gendering of the spheres. Laura’s Jewish version looks like this: (See Illustration 3).

In this system, only three of the ten spheres are female, one is nongendered, and six are male.

Here is Laura’s version of gender on the Hermetic Qabbalah: (See Illustration 4).
