Nutritional values per serving:

approx. 85 kcal, 1 g EW, 1 g F, 19 g KH

Ingredients for 6 children (approx. 1 ½ l):

• 1 organic lemon

• approx. 1 ½ kg of watermelon

• 200 ml pomegranate juice

• ½ l well chilled mineral water (carbonated)

Moreover:

6 wooden skewers or sprigs of rosemary

Wash the lemon with hot water, dry it and rub the peel thinly. Then halve and squeeze out. Halve the melon, remove the large stones if necessary. Cut off 1 column and cut into 6 triangles together with the shell, stick on wooden skewers or rosemary sprigs and set aside for garnish.

In a tall mixing bowl, finely puree 300 g of melon pulp with the lemon juice using a hand blender. Dice the remaining melon (approx. 500 g) or cut out the pulp into balls.

Mix the melon puree with lemon zest, pomegranate juice and mineral water in a jug. Sweeten with 1 tbsp honey if you like - but then the punch is no longer vegan! Divide with the melon pieces or balls on glasses and garnish with 1 melon skewer (in the picture on the right).

GOOD TO KNOW

The high-quality not-from-concentrate juice from the first pressing of a fruit is called mother juice. Its fruit content is 100 percent and it contains only the fruit's own aromas and the water that the fruit formed and stored during the ripening period. Mother juice therefore provides a maximum of natural ingredients. Because it tastes very intense, it is always diluted with water for drinking.
