But trust is just a door. It is not magic. It always has an object on the other end. What and who you put your trust in is what matters. TWO SOURCES OF PAIN

There are many kinds of pain, but two that I want to focus on here. The first is the kind that happens to innocent people at the hand of evil or bad people who abuse them, injure them, use them, betray them, or do something horrible that the sufferer had no part in whatsoever. Either in childhood or adulthood, a very bad person causes the victim horrible suffering. It is awful, and it is one of the things that God screams about. He hates it when the innocent suffer:

This is God’s Message: Attend to matters of justice. Set things right between people. Rescue victims from their exploiters. Don’t take advantage of the homeless, the orphans, the widows. Stop the murdering!5
