Present day

Okay, I fold to the crazy Australian, and I regret it the moment my feet touch the pavement outside my apartment. He basically had to drag me out of my place by draping me over his shoulder and carrying me down the stairs while I hit his butt over and over and screamed his name to let me go.

“Damn, babe, you know how to turn up the heat,” he jokes, putting me down.

“Screw you, drummer boy,” I reply, sticking my tongue out at the man.

A middle-aged guy chuckles and nods to Axton, who does the same. “This is Bill,” Axton says, introducing me to the man standing next to a big black car parked on the street in front of my house.

“Hey, love,” he says, his Cockney accent making me smile. “The guys are already at the arena,” he says, opening the door for me.

Axton gets in next to me. After he dressed, I made him leave the bathroom to get some perspective while I showered and got ready. I didn’t exactly give him my word that I would go on tour with him. I shouldn’t even be considering it, because the hot as sin drummer is almost too good to be true.

“How many dates have you got planned?” I ask, staring at his profile, his straight nose, his long hair, while Bill starts the car.

“A couple here with some other bands, before we fly back to America and finish the tour with the teenage band there.”

I nod, not saying anything. I’ve lost my mind yet again. Shifting in his seat, Axton rests his left hand on my knee.

His fingers travel up my thigh. “You know, Notting Hill, nothing bad is going to happen. You’ll only watch me burn the house down tonight. After that, you can cast your vote.”

I love how he calls me Notting Hill. The guy is cute and somehow, there hangs a broken vibe around him. He looks up from his lit phone screen.

“What?” A lopsided grin appears on his face as he turns those sparkling eyes to look at me. He is mouthwatering with his hoodie, shorts, and Chucks. Although it’s bloody fall here, he looks ready to go to the beach.

“Nothing.” I shrug, trying not to smile at the drummer, and failing royally. I sweep a few loose strands of purple-colored hair out of my face, thinking about our little escapade in the bathroom.

He runs his thumb over his lip from left to right, like he’s thinking the exact same thing. “I’ve never seen you lost for words.”

“We’ve only known each other for a couple hours, Ax,” I drawl.

His gaze is intense, and my insides respond immediately. I can actually feel the bastard pressing his big cock against me again. I push my thighs together, and he swallows hard, staring up from the place between my legs.

Bill turns right and the gate to the backstage area of the O2 opens. “Here you go, Ax,” Bill says as he parks the car, handing him a laminated pass with All Access printed in silver letters on it.
