FAITH CAN CHANGE REALITY

In some traditions, there are instructions for working with thought forms. For example, in Sufism "matter of thought" is a building material for "alam al-mitkhal" - the world of ideas and thought forms, therefore Sufis purify their thoughts using the techniques of dhikr - monotonous repetition of the names of the deity, the letters of which they draw in their imagination like a pen on paper. Hasidism has its own warnings about purity of thought, so righteous Hasidim try to avoid negative and sinful thoughts. The famous Hasidic teacher Rabbi Nachman of Breslav gave instructions to his disciples, which were later recorded in the book "Conversations of Rabbi Nachman" (Sichoth ha-Ran). In the eighth chapter of the book, Rabbi Nachman urges you not to plunge your thoughts into negative places, for thought has the power to influence reality. In the forty-fifth discourse, Rabbi Nachman compares touch, hearing, sight and thought and compares their abilities. By touch, you can come into contact with an object that is in physical proximity. By hearing, you can hear a cannon shot at a great distance, but nothing more. Distant stars can be seen by sight. Thought penetrates into anything and has no obstacles, therefore it is thought that is considered the highest ability of the mind and it is precisely this thought that Rabbi Nachman asked to keep clean. In the sixty-second discourse, Rabbi Nachman says that with the help of thought, a person can create objects and phenomena that he thinks about. Even wealth, according to Rabbi Nachman, comes to life at the call of thought. And in the same conversation, Rabbi Nachman again tells his disciples that by diligently concentrating his thoughts on one object for a long time he can call this object to existence. As already mentioned, Buddha Shakyamuni taught that our entire existence at this moment is the result of our thoughts that preceded this moment. Accordingly, good thoughts become a source of good events and good karma, and evil thoughts turn into bad events and generate negative karma.

In the western magical tradition, there is still one teaching called Chaos magic, the adepts of which work directly with thought forms, while neglecting the primitive medieval grimoires and rituals. Adepts of Chaos magic make up an occult society called the Order of the Illuminati of Thanateros. The motto of the order is the dictum of the founder and spiritual leader of the assassin sect - Hassan Sabah, mentioned in Betty Bouthoul's novel "The Master of the Assassins". The saying goes like this: "Nothing is true, everything is permitted." The meaning of this saying in the understanding of the Chaos magicians is that all our ideas about the world and the rules of behavior in it are biased and subjective attitudes and their thought forms, while for a free adept and his consciousness no restrictions and canons should exist. The principle of chaotic magic is also quite innovative. For example, a magician creates a talisman for himself, the purpose of which will be to enrich his owner.
