Do you remember all the unwanted feelings Ordinary experienced on the road out of Familiar? At first, things just seemed different. But the farther Ordinary got from the center of Familiar, the more his journey through his Comfort Zone made him anxious and afraid. Finally he was overcome with fear and couldn’t take another step.

The closer we get to our own invisible Wall of Fear, the more fear we feel, and the more likely we are to believe a dangerous misconception. Ordinary expressed it this way: “But if I was supposed to do this Big Dream, then I’m sure I wouldn’t feel so afraid!”

Sounds perfectly sensible, doesn’t it? But it’s a wrong belief that can trap a Dreamer for years.
