Add a word, picture, or symbol depicting the most significant element in your dream—the one that comes to mind first when you think of your dream. It might be a character, object, place, or anything else in your dream.
Draw a line between “Me” and the element you created in the previous step.
Along the line, write keywords to describe how you related to the element during the dream. These might include:
Relationship—who or what the element was to you in the dream. A character might have been a teacher, friend, or attacker; an object might have been an obstacle, a distraction, or something valuable to you; a setting might have been a destination or stop along the way.
Feelings, attitudes, or perspectives about the element—you might have felt joyful around your friend, frustrated by an obstacle, or curious about a mysterious object.
Action(s)—any action you or the element took in relation to the other. You might have given your friend a gift, pushed the obstacle out of the way, or studied the object under a bright light.
