LETTER TO SOMEONE

Think of someone you have a problem with in your life at this time. With no intention to send it, write a letter to this person in your journal. In this letter tell the person how you feel about him or her. Be completely honest and tell the person exactly what's on your mind: all the things you've wanted to say, but haven't. Include in the letter why you haven't been able to tell the person these things directly.

In the second part of your letter, tell the person how you would like things to be between you.

Now, pretend that this person is there with you. Write down his or her reaction to what you just shared. If it feels right, you may want to respond and continue a written conversation between the two of you in which both points of view are expressed.
