That night, Josie waited anxiously in her room. She didn’t know how to do this. Wearing the guest robe, with nothing under it, she ambled back and forth in front of the bed. Would he come? Should she go to him? What the fuck was she doing to herself? All this crazy thinking was going to make her lose her mind. She didn’t have it in her to go chasing after him. No matter how much she wanted him.

She turned to her bag and took out her pocket rocket. Maybe she could take the edge off in case nothing happened with him tonight.

She slipped open the robe and lay in the middle of the bed. Her thoughts centered around Xander and his gorgeous smile, beautiful eyes, and that body she imagined riding every time she looked at him.

Her breaths came in short spurts, she turned the toy to a low buzz, running it over her nipples and gasping at the way it shot pleasure to her clit. God, she wanted Xander so fucking bad. This is what she got for not getting that man out of her mind. She kept the toy on her nipple and slipped a hand down between her legs. She was hot, wet, and aching. With a quick switch, she had the toy gliding between her legs and her other hand tugging at the hard points of her nipples.

She squirmed on the bed, lifting her hips and wiggling them at the same time she did the vibrator. The closer she got to her body reaching the edge of that pleasure she wanted so badly, the harder it became to breathe.

Thump! Thump! Thump!

Loud knocking pulled her out of the moment and she growled in frustration. Slamming the toy down on the mattress, she slid into her robe again, her frustration making it almost impossible to tie the damn thing around her waist.

She yanked the door open and glared at the object of her aggravation. “What?”

His eyes were a bright gold and his lips were pressed into a thin line. The muscle at the side of his neck worked to the point she almost forgot he’d stopped her mid-self-gratification.

“You can’t fucking do that,” he growled, storming inside the room. He wore pajama bottoms and nothing else. Fucking hell, he looked so delicious. All those muscles tense. Every time he took a breath, she wanted to slide her hands up and down his abs and thank every deity who created the V that went from his waist directly to his crotch.

She blinked. “What?”

He pushed toward her, wrapping his hands around her head and pressing his lips hard on hers. Need soared to a new delectable ache inside her. She kissed him back with every drop of desire she clung to, finally giving in to the lust roaring at her veins.

She gripped his shoulders and continued kissing him. They staggered back until the back of her legs hit the bed and both fell on it with a thud. His hands were all over her, touching, squeezing, driving her fucking insane.
