Things you need to do before you put the poly on the walls

Windows After you have finished covering the roof with the poly, it’s time to put in your windows. If you have purchased new vinyl ones as suggested, they have installation strips along the edges and install easily. Take time to get them square, level, and plumb. They will open and close better if you do. Run caulk under the flanges as you install them to make them more air tight.

Electricity If you are installing electricity, make sure you have in place what is needed in the framing for the electrical system to be installed.

Doors The double doors I suggested that you use come pre hung. They are heavy. You will need help to install them. Place them in the rough opening, and then level, plumb, and square them up with shims as needed. Screw them into place.
