Among many hats, the CEO serves as the leader of the band, and he or she must firmly step into that role; everybody in the company wants to know you and get a sense of your personality, who you really are. Many executives get in front of an audience and they become stiff, scripted, rehearsed, politically-correct, and put up a wall so it is hard for the audience to "know" them.
