THE TSUNAMI
A huge tsunami was created by the impactor. Possibly several kilometers high, the tsunami would have destroyed all of the coastlines near ground zero, engulfing dinosaurs living in these areas. (Paintings by Don Davis, left, and Ron Miller, below)
