Stewie looked over at Bugzy.

“If you carry on like this, you’ll burst,” he said, and helped himself to some more crisps.

For the rest of the morning, Stewie was in and out of JJ’s shop. Sometimes, he helped by doing a bit of this and a bit of that. But, mostly, he helped himself to the things on his list from JJ’s boxes of bits and bobs, stacked on the sagging shelves.

Each time he found what he needed, he trotted back to the shed and added it to a pile on the bench.

Bugzy watched him from behind his pile of crisps.
