4.2 Design Example of Power System of the Satellite in Sun-Synchronous Orbit

Next, we take a satellite platform in sun-synchronous orbit designed in a generalized, serialized, and standardized way as an example to introduce its power system. This satellite operates in a sun-synchronous orbit, whose descending node is within the range of 10:00–14:00. It has a total mass of less than 3500 kg and a design lifetime of 8 years [3].
