Chorus

Open our mixer by toggling f3 and open the edit window for our Cuica channel. Toggle the first insert panel by clicking on the arrow drop down menu to add our first chorus fx. Scroll down to the Steinberg folder>Modulation>Chorus and click on it. Open the preset menu and choose the preset fast Leslie. Change the following settings, set the rate to 1/16T.

MonoDelay

Next add a MonoDelay in the second insert tab by scrolling to the Steinberg folder>Delay>MonoDelay. Set the Delay to 1/8D, this is the rate at with our delay repeats the higher we go the more it repeats per bar. Set the feedback to 9.6, feedback is how long we want the delay to repeat after our set initial delay. Lo filter cut to 380, Hi filter cut to 1200 and set the mix knob to 6.5. Mix knob is how much of the effect vs the dry single we want. The higher the percentage the more effect we will add. Preview your sound. You can also play with the different values to better understand and practice using delay.
