Butch didn’t have anything against Jill and Taj. His only concern was those seven kilos that Bless and that dead nigga Jeff burned him for. Those girls just messed with the wrong dudes. Butch ran a tight ship. Anyone who crossed him got it in the worst way. His team of goons was loyal, and they followed his orders. He treated them all well in exchange.

An hour later, Butch gave Taj another opportunity to give up her man. He had her try calling that nigga, but the calls were going straight to voicemail. Taj was desperate to save her and Jill’s lives, so she looked at him earnestly and lied.

Taj convinced him that she needed to be let go so she could go set Bless up. She and Jill’s lives depended on it, so she promised Butch that she would get his money.

In her heart she didn’t really believe she could pull it off. She didn’t even know where Bless was, but she had to do something. She hadn’t seen Bless since days before Jeff was killed. They had argued like they always did, and that was that. She had thought it was a real sucker move that he decided not to attend the funeral. Now Taj wished she and Jill hadn’t attended either.

After much deliberation, Butch decided to let Taj go. He didn’t have many other options to get at Bless. He had already sent a team of goons to his mother’s house, but the apartment was empty when they had arrived. They could tell that the occupants had vacated the premises in a hurry. They had waited hours, but no one returned. Butch guessed that nigga Bless was smart enough to get his moms out of harm’s way. Butch warned Taj that if she didn’t come through for him, he would be sure to kill Jill and her unborn fetus.

Taj begged him to let her take a shower. Though his eyes remained cold and expressionless, he gave her permission. He had cameras hidden in the interrogation rooms, and had seen the inhumane way in which she and her pregnant friend had been treated.

He was turned off by the display of unsafe group sex and not the least bit interested in joining in. But Butch wouldn’t have participated in such festivities anyhow, because he wasn’t that hard up. He was just cold. He was the type of nigga to pimp on a bitch stone cold in chilly blood. Calling him icy was a real understatement. The only reason he was allowing Taj a shower was because he couldn’t stand looking at her cum-drenched body.

Taj was grateful, but she cried her heart out in the shower. She scrubbed her skin so hard; she almost took a layer off. She vowed to kill that bitch Cherry one day for violating her like that. The tears streaming down her face
