The Americas

Sir Hawkins and his crew, as well as the men slaves, all attacked the pirates. Shots were fired and a few of the ship hands and slaves were killed, but the 5 men that boarded the ship were overtaken. They were badly outnumbered by the ship crew and the slaves. Once the remaining crew on the pirate ship saw their men were defeated. They sailed away from the Amazing Grace. Giving up on their plan to raid and conquer the ship. The next morning after devotion services and singing Amazing Grace.

“Land Ahoy!” The morning watchman yelled from his look out post high above the ship's deck. The ship's crew and the slaves had not seen land for months, everybody on the ship became excited. Once the great shipped dropped it's anchor a few miles from land the crew began the job of off loading the slaves. By the time they had arrived in Panama there was only 50 slaves left.`As soon as all the slaves were brought ashore. The slave auction was set to begin. They lined the slaves up 12 at a time to be auctioned off. “Massa! You promised me that me and Kismee would not be sold!” Naja Pleaded with Sir Hawkins. “It's just as I said, you and Kismee are going to work on the ship!” Naja smiled in a sigh of relief.

“Can I get one thousand one hundred dollars. Can I get one thousand one hundred dollars once, twice. Sold to the gentlemen on the right!”

“No! You can't take Ella Mae. That's my wife!” One of the men slaves awaiting to be auctioned off. Sobbed and cried as they took his spouse to her new owner.

“Shut up, Nigger!” One of the auction workers shouted as he slapped the male slave in his face. “She has been sold and there is nothing you can do about it!”

After the auction was completed. Sir Hawkins had become a very wealthy man, the auction had brought in over $100.000 dollars. He would make a large profit after paying the bankers and paying a tribute to queen Elisabeth. He paid his ship hands very little.

“Thank you massa! Foe not selling me and Kismee. I promise me and her will be good slaves massa. You'll see!” Sir Hawkins nodded his head.

“So you're thinking about marrying that girl Kismee is that right? So I take it that she is still a virgin. Huh?” Before Naja could answer, the sound of gunfire rang out. Naja and sir Hawkins were not far from were the slaves had been just auctioned off at. “What in the Devil is going on?” Hawkins yelled out as he and Naja ran towards the sound of the gunfire. Samuel, after watching his wife Ella Mae, get auctioned off to a bunch of white men. Was to much for his mind to handle. The 6 foot 300 pound 25 year old man, was strong as an ox. So it was very easy for him to wrestle the revolver he was firing, from the hands of one of the ship's workers.
