Siren

Siren was at the end of his rope. The two properties they checked were empty. Keys found a home address for the father’s girlfriend. Axle sent Rex and the prospect to check it out. They checked in a few minutes ago and said Benjamin wasn’t at the house, but it appeared to be where the father and girlfriend lived together. Axle told them to follow the father for a while and see if he led them to Benjamin.

Axle told Siren to stand down and let them do their job, but Siren had a feeling Benjamin had run home to Mommy. He wanted to tear off for Indiana, track down the fucker, and beat the living hell out of him. He knew Axle was right, though.

Going into Hell’s Dogs territory without a plan or backup was suicide. His club brothers may have decimated the Indiana chapter months ago, but they knew the Kentucky and Ohio chapters were organizing. War was coming. They didn’t need to hurry that along by going into Hell’s Dogs territory.

Resigned to not being able to do anything else about the fuckwad for now, his thoughts turned to April.

It had been twenty hours since he saw her, and he was done. He had to see her. They left Keys in the conference room with his computers to do his thing. Siren followed Axle, Bullet, and Dragon down to the main room.

“Beer?” Bullet asked them as he rounded the bar.

“Sure,” Axle said at the same time Dragon replied, “Yeah, brother.”

“Siren?”

Siren ignored Bullet and met Axle’s stare. “Where is she?”

Axle didn’t reply. He took the beer from Bullet, opened the bottle, and took a drink. Before Siren could ask again, the front door opened. Gorgeous and Georgia walked in. Georgia was on the phone.

Axle smiled at Gorgeous and kissed her lips when she sidled up to his side. “Hey Gorgeous. Where have you been? Where’s Nugget?”

“Kitty wanted to spend some time with her. I have to go pick her up in a minute.” She ran her fingers through Axle’s hair. “I was comforting April. She’s all upset.”

“April?” Siren looked at Gorgeous. “Where is she?”

Gorgeous looked over at him and glared. “Why should I tell you? Huh? Since you can’t seem to not flirt with other women, why should I tell you?”

Siren’s eyes flashed gold, and he took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. His lion started whining and pacing, knowing Gorgeous knew where his mate was. “I didn’t flirt with Foxy. I was turning her down and trying to do it nicely, since she didn’t do anything wrong and didn’t know I was with April. I am with April and only April. Now, please, tell me where she is, so I can make sure she knows that.”

“Oh, is that what you want to do, Babe?”

Siren cringed and scrubbed his face with his palms. “I know. I fucked up and I want to make it right, Gorgeous. Please?”

When Gorgeous crossed her arms over her chest and continued to glare at him, Axle pulled her close to him and kissed her neck.
