Chapter 14:
Aya: “Where are you Taylor?”
Aya: “And you're not answering my calls because?”
Aya: “Where the fuck are you?”
Aya: “Stop fucking around and answer my calls.”
Aya: “You're with her aren't you?”
Aya: “Are you fucking her?”
Aya: “I hate you. Go to hell.”
Aya: “I’m sorry for talking crazy. I love you, just answer my calls Tay.”
He groaned as his frustration mounted when he continued to look at the numerous text messages that Aya had left him over the weekend. However, he wasn't going to let them get to him, not when he had just experienced the most undeniably amazing weekend with Miss Candice Burns.
He couldn't stop thinking about the sweet time they shared together and the way she was opening up to him. He already knew she was a freak like him, intelligent and confident. However, behind all that sass, Candice Burns was damaged.
Her deceased mother was one crazy lady.
Finding out about all the things she brainwashed Candice with shocked Taylor. Just because Candice's father had cheated and lied to her mom didn't mean that all men were the same. Taylor thought that her mother was wrong for taking all her angry emotions about her husband and feeding them to Candice, expecting her to follow suit. She had made Candice obey everything she told her, and didn't even allow her to form her own opinions.
Candice was damaged, and Tay was here to fix her. He was going to fix her and help her the only way he knew how – loving her, caring for her, and being honest with her.
He was going to tell her about Aya.
He knew that if he didn't reveal the truth to her soon, the truth would find a way out soon. All he needed to do was tell her, so that he wouldn't have this deep burden on his back, and he would be able to divorce Aya with a free conscience.
Candice would understand, right? She would understand that Taylor didn't love Aya and only married her as a favour. She had to understand. He wasn't about to let the best thing to ever happen to him walk away from him.
He just needed to let the truth out. It was the only way that he could be at peace with himself and not have to sneak around.
It was the only way.

Dre wasn't picking up her calls, and neither was Chelsea. What the hell was going on? They both knew that she had gone to Paris to spend the weekend with Taylor, and she knew that they would be dying to find out how it went, so for them not to be harassing her right now with calls and text messages was surprising.
Candice sighed softly, smiling to herself as the vivid thoughts of her weekend in Paris popped into her head. Taylor was the best. Anything she wanted in any store, he got for her. Even when she eyed the large price tags, unsure whether or not she wanted him to waste his money on her, he insisted that she dropped it in her shopping basket.
