Figure 5.77a shows the imaginary part of the dielectric constant evaluated in Ref. [107]. It is observed that the plot for E⊥c consists of a very significant peak at small frequencies (up to 5 eV) and also another peak structure of broader frequency range which starts from about 10 eV and has a weak intensity peak at 14 eV. Figure 5.77b shows the imaginary part of the dielectric constant in accordance with our DFT simulations with Quantum Espresso in combination with post-processing tool—YAMBO. The procedure adopted for modeling and analysis is explained in the previous section.
