First, there are the extraterrestrial beings who are unaware of the human race on Earth and who, for various reasons, will never have anything to do with us. This is the majority of extraterrestrials in the cosmos.

Second, there are extraterrestrials who are aware of the human race on Earth but who are unconcerned about what happens to us. Their position is neutral. This neutral position describes how most of the extraterrestrials who are aware of us actually feel about us.

Third, there are the benevolent extraterrestrials who are aware of the human race and who have kindly feelings toward us. The good news is, far more extraterrestrials wish us well than hostile aliens who would destroy us. However, just because an extraterrestrial race feels benevolence for the human race doesn’t mean that they feel responsible to save us. There are some benevolent ETs who are aware of us and who strongly wish to help the people of Earth. But there are also some benevolent ETs who wish us well, but who are not particularly committed to helping us.

And that leaves the fourth group, which is hostile aliens who desire to eradicate the human species. Although they are a minority of all intelligent extraterrestrial life forms, these hostile aliens presently dominate our planet. And, unfortunately for our human race, these hostile aliens have a very strong desire to destroy us so they can take over our world.
