Chapter Eight

Jake

I was nervous when I walked up the stairs to the apartment. I wanted to talk to Janie and Ethan about my idea and I hoped they would be as excited as I was about it. I’d been thinking about a lot of things all week—a lot about the incredible sex, but mostly about figuring out a way for the three of us to stay together. They had always been the best part of my life, even before all this started happening, but now I felt like they were everything and I didn’t want to lose it.

I shifted the bags of Chinese food that I had brought for dinner, so I could fish the keys out my pocket and I felt my hand tremble as I tried to unlock the door. Fuck! Why was I so nervous? I finally managed to open the door and I felt instantly better when I saw Ethan in the kitchen opening a bottle of wine. A wide smile spread across his face when he turned around. I grinned back at him, “Hey, Janie home yet?”

“Nope. She texted though, she should be here any minute.” He took the bags out of my hands and put them down on the counter and leaned in to kiss me. It felt good. It should have felt weird, having my best friend and roommate greet me like that when I walked in the door. But it didn’t, it felt right. It felt like things were the way they should be.

Ethan went to pull away from the kiss and I put my hand behind his neck and pulled him back in and began to kiss him more deeply. Our tongues wrestled as I pulled on the back of his collar and twisted the fabric in my fist. His arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me closer to him and I could feel his hard cock pressed against mine. His hands moved down to my ass and pulled me even closer. She smiled and walked over and gave us each a sweet kiss. “Can you two please be making out every night when I come home?”

Ethan chuckled, “We’ll see what we can do.”

We all sat down for dinner and it was quieter than usual. Probably because I was trying to figure out how to tell them about my idea. I
