Chapter Fifteen
Ja’Mea
Kyrie had been spending more and more time in the streets. Hell, I barely even saw him, and when I did see him he was in the bed sleeping. The shit was pissing me off more and more, and whenever I tried to talk to him about it, he would blow me off, which only pissed me off even more.
“How do you think the kids are doing in Miami?” Taylor asked as we sat in the living room of the new house Kyrie just got for us. When Kyrie first told me about the house, I had major doubts about it but the first time I saw it, I fell in love with it.
“I don’t know, but I’m just glad Auntie G isn’t taking care of them by herself.
“Yeah, so am I. But I miss my babies.”
“I know the feeling. But I’m happy we’re going to see them this weekend.”
This morning before Kyrie left out the house, he let me know that we were going to Miami this weekend, and I was beyond happy. I couldn’t wait to see my babies.
“So how are you and Shuan?” I asked her. I know she was still hurting behind catching Shuan and his baby momma.
“We don’t say shit to each other.”
“I wish y’all would get it together.”
“I don’t Mea. Out of everything that Ty’Shuan has done to me, this most definitely takes the cake,” she said as tears welled up in her arms.
“I think y’all should just talk about it. Look at everything Kyrie has put me through, even after catching him and that bitch June-Ashley, Ashley-June, whatever the hell the bitch name is,” I said as she laughed. “But naw seriously. Even after that, Kyrie and I were able to work it out. I think you and Shuan can too.”
“I don’t know Mea.” she said, shaking her head.
“My brother loves you Taylor, and we both know it. Of course he’s made some mistakes, but give him another chance.”
“Did he tell you to say that to me?” she asked, smiling.
“No he didn’t tell me. But I’m tired of seeing both of y’all walking around like some sad puppies.”
“He broke my heart, Ja’Mea. I’m not sure I can forgive him.”
“Taylor, you walked in on him getting head from the girl. You didn’t walk in on them fucking. I walked in on Kyrie and that bitch fucking. I forgave Kyrie so I know you can forgive Shuan.
“I don’t know, maybe one day, just not now,” she said.

The weekend had finally came; I couldn’t wait to see my babies. Ky and I were driving to the lil beach house he rented out for Auntie G and the kids, along with the nanny we hired to help Auntie G.
“Kyrie?”
“What’s up?”
“What’s been going on with you?”
“What you mean?”
“I mean, you’ve been spending more time running the streets then you have with me. I’m starting to think you’ve been spending time with another bitch.”
“Didn’t we already have this conversation? When I’m out in the streets, I’m keeping an eye out on Kyson and the other niggas.
