Chapter 14- Rose`

This morning when I woke up, the only thing I had on my mind was doing something nice for Remy. That man has gone above and beyond to show how much he loves me and our daughter. I had planned on cooking a big ass dinner and inviting the family over. I had purchased him a Presidential Rolex to add to his collection. When I got out of bed to use the washroom, I stubbed my toe on the side of the dresser. That made me bump into it and knock the folder onto the floor. As I kneeled down to pick it up, I realized it was a picture of the bitch Ava. Despite me wanting to kill her ass, she looked as if she had just stepped off the runway. I had to give the bitch her props, she was flawless. Since there were more pictures I started to go through all of them.

One picture in particular caught my eye. Ava was holding a small child’s hand and carrying a baby on her hip. I stared at the picture for a couple of minutes. I knew from the moment I laid eyes on the smaller little boy, he was my son. A mother knows these things. The birthmark on his leg was confirmation of what I had already known. I wanted to scream out but I covered my mouth and let the tears fall freely. Looking at the other little boy I couldn’t help but to take in his appearance. He was the splitting image of my son. They looked like Remy. My stomach immediately began to ache. I became so nauseous that I had to run into the bathroom and vomit. The thought of that other little boy being my husband’s, made me sick to my stomach. I don’t know how I could deal with Remy having a baby with the bitch Ava. There is definitely a possibility that she could have a baby by him. The baby looks to be about two going on three. Call me petty but I can give less than a fuck if it was before my time. My son is supposed to be his first born son. Any other rug rat is irrelevant.

I sat on the floor in shock at the realization that this bitch had my son all this time. Here it is we’ve been grieving him and she’s been raising him as her own. Anger set in and I started to get dressed. I threw on an all-black jogging suit and a pair of black leather UGGS. I grabbed the folder and rushed out of the door. When I got inside the car, I found a paper with her address on it and her daily agenda. Another picture of my son smiling brought tears to my eyes. It was then reality set in and I could hear Remy saying that he was going to handle it. Remy had been doing everything in his power to make things right with us.
