Jack couldn’t remember any time he’d felt more consumed by anyone or anything.

Especially after Sophie had used him.

No, not thinking about that witch when his arms were full of a trembling, gorgeous woman. A woman who had his heart.

Jack leaned back enough to find Trina’s eyes fluttering open.

Her smile was lazy and satisfied, and he didn’t resist the need to kiss her again. “You okay?”

Trina laughed. “Way past okay. Stratospherically past okay. You?”

“Right there with you. Let me clean up the condom.”

He helped her to stand on the ground and he tossed the condom and warmed a washcloth for her.

Of course, cleaning up all that maple syrup caused his body to rev.

Trina glanced down and then back up, her smile pure mischief and sex. “I think it’s my turn to play.”

Jack was pretty sure his brain short-circuited.

Trina pushed him back against the counter and dipped a spoon in the cup.

The woman was absolutely lethal. And he loved every moment of it.
