Bella stared at the money in front of her. She couldn’t believe that she was holding ten thousand dollars in her hand. Being that it was Kelly’s graduation day, she decided to make her day a little more special. They’d make their trip to New York, but for now she had other plans.

Logging into craigslist on her computer, she pulled up the for sale cars. Kelly had really shown her maturity throughout her senior year and Bella wanted to reward her. She’d be going off to college very soon, and she’d definitely need a way to get around.

Plugging in a maximum and minimum amount into the filter, Bella browsed the cars that she could afford. She didn’t plan on paying more than forty-five hundred for Kelly a car. However, she typed fifty-two hundred into the maximum slot. There were ways that Bella could talk the owner down, especially if she came with money in hand.

Scrolling down the listed vehicles, Bella spotted a navy blue Toyota Avalon that was only five thousand dollars. It was a 2007 model and it looked really nice. Bella felt that Kelly would look great in the car and it fit her personality well.

Dialing the listed number, Bella waited as for the seller to pick up. On the second ring, she got an answer. The old lady was pretty nice and didn’t mind selling the car to Bella for forty-four hundred after Bella had explained their situation. The old lady was quite impressed and told Bella to come by and take a look at it.

“Kelly!” Bella yelled.

“Yeah?” she asked, looking up from her phone.

“You’ve changed already?” Bella was the only one of the three that was still dressed in her graduation attire.

“We both are.” Reed laughed.

“I’ll be right back!” Bella rushed into her room and shed her clothing. She searched threw her draws for a white tee and a pair of denim pants. After finding them both, she threw them on –paired with a pair of lifted soled sandals from Target. Bella peeled off six thousand dollars from the not of money and placed the rest back into the snap compartment of the teddy bear’s hand.

“Okay, I’m ready now!” Bella rushed back into the living room. “Grab your bags and let’s go!”

Everyone piled into the car after throwing their bags in the trunk. Bella was so excited that she could barely contain herself. She had already separated Kelly’s car money from their spending money. Bella kept stealing glances at Kelly, who was staring into space. She was certain that Kelly was thinking of Roc, but she had something to cheer her up!

“Where are we going?” Kelly asked after noticing that they were not headed towards the bridge.

“I have a surprise for you!” Bella said as she continued to follow the directions that the GPS was signaling her to.

Twenty minutes later, they were pulling up on a ranch styled house with a white picket fence. The garden in the front of the house was amazing and well kept.
