Pissy Attitude

Today Quita had 13 kids with 23 different personalities and she was doing the best she could to make things work, without her partner. Kimi had called off of work yet again, which happened a lot after the fight with Valencia. Because of it, she had to hire two young girls. She was in the kitchen making herself a cup of coffee, and her new assistant’s Essence and Pooh were downstairs with the children.

Pooh was Kimi’s cousin, far removed. She was an over the top and loud high school dropout who she recently hired. But she was licensed to drive the van Quita purchased to pick the kids up from school or their extra curricular activities, and was always on time and eager to make money. She was as greedy as Quita and because of it, they got along just fine, most of the time.

Quita continued to run a profitable center with little help from Kimi. Although Valencia said Kimi wasn’t allowed in her house, Quita was sure she knew she was there every now and again anyway. Just as long as Kimi wasn’t in the building, when Valencia got home, things were calm.

For the first time in Quita’s life, she was making more money than she’d ever dreamed. She managed to save over eight thousand dollars in the bank and was preparing to leave in a month, to purchase her own house, which meant more space and privacy. She hadn’t built up the nerve to tell Valencia she was leaving, but she was trying her hardest. Part of her reason for moving out was that Valencia failed the drug and background check OCC required and the other part was she was tired of being a slave. So Teach Them To Grow Child Care Center was officially closed for business, and Quita’s Day Care Center, was born in its place.

It wasn’t enough for Quita to get paid, she had to push her get rich quick schemes to another level. She discovered that there was a demand for convicts, on probation, who needed fresh urine. She couldn’t fulfill their needs because she smoke and drank liquor on a regular basis, but her kids could. She had already supplied ten felons and her client list was growing more by the day.

Quita leaned up against the bathroom door and asked, “Why are you taking so long, Goose?” Since Goose pissed like a Russian racehorse, she used him for the supply, and he got on her nerves every time too. “It doesn’t take that long to go to the bathroom.”

“I’m trying! You gotta wait!” He huffed.

Quita shook her head and tried to be patient by tapping her feet. Luke from southwest was upstairs and she knew he was growing irritated by her keeping him waiting. “Lil Goose, are you done yet?” Quita asked again, after banging on the door two more times. “All you gotta do is piss in the cup and give it to me. It ain’t surgery! I mean damn, are you taking a shit too?”

“Why I gotta do this anyway?” he bucked.
