Spiritual Authority Confessions

I receive the blessing of those in spiritual authority over my life.

I receive the benedictions (blessings) of my church leadership.

I receive the blessing of prophecy from those who minister by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

Let my spiritual leaders speak words of blessing over my life.

I receive the blessing of the Word of God ministered in my church over my life.

Prayers For The Blessing Of Submitting To Authority

Let me not be like the one who mocks his father and scorns obedience to his mother, for the ravens of the valley will pick out his eyes and the young eagles will eat it (Prov. 30:17).

Power and might are in Your hands, Lord. It is at Your discretion people are made great and given strength (1 Chron. 29:12).

Lord, You control the course of world events. You remove kings and set up other kings. You give wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the scholars (Dan. 2:21).

I will obey and be submissive to those who rule over me (Heb. 13:17).

I will be subject to the governing authorities, because they are appointed by God (Rom. 13:1).

I will pray, intercede, and give thanks for all men, kings, and all who are in authority (1 Tim. 2:1-2).

I will remember to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work (Titus 3:1).

I will not be like the dreamers who reject authority and speak evil of dignitaries (Jude 8).

Let me not speak on my own authority but on the authority of the Father who dwells in me (John 14:10).

I will not resist authority or the ordinance of God and bring judgment on myself (Rom. 13:2).

Rulers are not a terror to good works but to evil. Therefore I will not fear authority, because I will do what is good (Rom. 13:3).
