ELEMENTAL TOOL CONSECRATION

The act of consecrating your ceremonial tools is one of the most important things you will perform as part of your preparatory workings. It is through consecration that you assign a purpose to the tool, whilst also declaring it as magical and sacred. So for example within the context of elemental magick, prior to consecration your Fire Dagger is just a knife, but after it has been properly consecrated it becomes the elemental tool of Fire.

For this consecration we use the following symbols for each of the four elements. They represent the four elements, and the duplication of the symbol within the symbol hints at the power controlling the element, i.e. the elemental governor. You can if you prefer use the common elemental triangles instead.
